EDWARD FOX IN TROLLOPE

PRESENTED BY EVERYMAN PALACE THEATRE

One of the most recognisable actors in British and Hollywood cinema makes his first Irish stage appearance with a show inspired by the life and work of the novelist Anthony Trollope.

Edward Fox is one of the most popular screen actors of recent decades. He has won two BAFTA Awards, one for the film A Bridge Too Far and the second for the acclaimed television series Edward and Mrs Simpson. Other notable film titles include The Day of the Jackal, Gandhi and Force 10 from Navarone.  He is an accomplished stage actor with regular appearances in London’s West End.

Anthony Trollope was one of the most distinguished writers in the English language. In The Barchester Chronicles he invented an imaginary world filled with a diversity of larger than life 19th century characters. Blending extracts from these novels with Trollope’s own An Autobiography Edward Fox assembles a compelling portrait of the Victorian novelist and his times.

Presented in association with Clive Conway Productions Ltd.
