Everyman Palace Theatre is committed to encouraging participation in theatre and engaging with as wide an audience as possible.

We connect with the community by offering tours and talks, engaging with local schools and colleges, working with social initiatives such as the Lifelong Learning Festival, increasing accessibility through bargain student tickets and developing opportunities for young theatre practitioners, most recently through the Pat Murray Bursary.


AUDITIONS!

DRUID INVITES YOUNG TALENT TO TAKE TO THE STAGE

Druid is inviting 5 young people (male and female) to join 14 professional actors on stage for its production of The Silver Tassie at the Everyman Palace Theatre (12 - 16 October). 

The Silver Tassie is one of Seán O’Casey’s great plays and for this production Druid is putting together one of their biggest ever company of actors.
 
Open auditions will be held in the Everyman Palace Theatre on Friday July 16th at 10am.

Those wishing to attend are invited to simply turn up at the specified time and do not need to pre-register or prepare anything in advance.

Druid asks that each participant read through the following information to ensure that you are eligible to attend for audition.

Participants must…
•    be aged 16 or 17 during the month of October (please bring proof of age on the day)
•    have an ability to sing and be able to follow direction
•    be from Cork or the surrounding counties
•    be available on all rehearsal and performance dates
