Armed with a cast of hormonal women, one-liners about memory loss and innuendo-laden versions of pop classics, Menopause The Musical is a hilarious celebration of women and ‘The Change’. The all-singing, all-dancing comedy brings together four very different women at a department store lingerie sale, who have nothing in common but a black lace bra and hot flushes, night sweats, memory loss, chocolate binges, not enough sex, too much sex, plastic surgery and more!
Since March 2001, Menopause the Musical has entertained and inspired women across the world. The show stars Adele King (Twink) and Linda Martin, both of whom need no introduction to Irish audiences. A professional performer since the age of five, Adele King has won her own special place in the hearts of Irish people. From her days with Maxi, Dick and Twink to partying with Elvis in Las Vegas and being chosen to perform with Perry Como, she has built a huge base of loyal fans. Linda Martin is known and loved as a singer and TV presenter who started off her musical career when she joined the band Chips in Belfast in 1969. Linda went on to achieve international fame by winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1992 with Why Me. She has also featured on the judging panel of RTE’s You’re a Star.
