Though separated from Taoiseach William Dunne for many years, Rita Dunne’s identity has always been defined by her relationship with Ireland’s most high-profile figure. When scandal threatens the Taoiseach, Rita is torn between loyalty to the father of her daughter and the prospect of real independence finally for herself.  

Last year Patrick Talbot directed Guests of the Nation and Dublin Carol.
